I just wanted to thank Top Coach for the encouragement support and fun in helping me to get under the 35 minutes for the Park Run. It was a good feeling when it was 34.51. It has taken me 14 months to reach that goal. I probably would not have done it without your help. My legs are a bit stronger and I am running (okay slow jogging!!) a little bit longer than I have been. So thank you again.
I actually found Top Coach because my previous trainer had " liked" them here on Facebook. She is a great gal and has a great group of young women working out with her and she definitely got me into working out! But I am 60 now and ran into some health problems recently. So when I decided I could get back to it, I thought I'd go in a little different direction. What a great place to workout! I had been unwell for 3 months and lost any fitness I had, due to medication and pain. I was afraid to start working out again because I thought I'd injure myself! The beginners classes have been awesome! I go at my own pace, and am not intimidated by more experienced members. It is not a competition, it is about getting stronger and fitter, without injury if possible! There are mixed classes where beginners are given a second option to help achieve this! The coaches are always walking around being sure I am doing the exercises correctly for the best benefits and I never feel embarrassed or feel I'm not good enough! I am also a shift worker and there are so many class options that I can manage to get a few in even while on night shift!
Since starting Top Coach, I have more energy !!! My clothes are all loose on me as well as I am now able to wear some clothes that I have not been able to fit into!!! I have also been receiving compliments from other people about how I am looking !!!I am definitely feeling better. My aches and pains in my knees, hip and back have decreased quite dramatically. You are all a breath of fresh air. You always make me feel welcome and continually encourage and nudge me towards my goals, showing me I can step on up out of my comfort zone and feel good while doing it. The care factor is a standout. Thankyou!!
I have stuck with beginners sessions which I have found to be extremely beneficial to building my strength. I think I now need to push myself to start building on cardio as well. Top Coach has definately helped with my goal which has been to build up my core strength and to just make me stronger overall and I am definately starting to see improvement. I like the personal approach that you have to each member. I like that each trainer knows who you are and what you are trying to achieve. 😊
I don’t get back ache anymore, I have more strength and I’m definitely more toned than I ever have been in my life, even having reached 40 and bearing 3 kids! I have never been into exercise (hated it in fact) and I’ve always been very unfit, so if it wasn’t for Top Coach I would probably be lucky to fit in a few walks each week with the dog! Sometimes I struggle with some of the exercises but they always make each session different and fun. I love that each session is in a different location and its always great to catch up with the lovely bunch of girls and guys that I train with. If it wasn’t for the expertise and the fun we have at Top Coach I know I wouldn’t have the fitness I have today. Top Coach has truly changed my life. Thank you Chris and Leisa!! xx
I must say, the girls and I have geniunely been enjoying the classes. Always a natural high thereafter. I think for the first time in 50 years it feels as if I might be learning how to do thinks correctly and certainly I know the benefits will follow. Thanks for great work outs!
Loving the sessions and finding them very effective. My muscles are telling me so.... My goal was to get somewhat stronger and happy to say I feel that I’m getting there especially the upper body. Love the friendly and professional approach. Definitely have recommended it to patients and friends. Wished I had started earlier 🙂 Thanks for the great job you guys are doing.
I am enjoying the sessions and definitely feel I have made progress in fitness and strength. My running has improved, and am just about there with 5 chin-ups; think I will target 8 or 10 next! And maybe some more PBS on Parkrun; interval training really helps so will try to get to the sessions when they are scheduled. Top Coach has helped me so much, really appreciate what you guys have done for me
Hi Chris and Leisa, I just want to say thank you to you both and also Kane and Brooke. I am really enjoying the classes I am attending. It is such an eye opener to me, because I have always shied away from gym's and fitness groups. I am so happy just to be back to regular running, and for it to be sustainable without injury. The bullet proof knees program has been unbelievable! Thanks for the help, support and encouragement each of you are giving to me. I now know why Sonia really enjoys Top Coach so much. Thanks Ken
I trained with Top Coach for 10 days while on holiday in the area. I loved every session and would highly recommend it. The trainers were excellent, their focus on individual technique and attention was really beneficial. There was lots of variety in the sessions (both in the types of exercises and the different levels catered for), great music, lots of different equipment, and every time the hour passed so quickly! And most importantly, I always left feeling that I had had a really good workout!
I'd like to sincerely thank Chris, Leisa, Brooke and Kane, for getting me into shape over the last 15 months. I have valued your enthusiasm, encouragement and advice, which has kept me motivated. I feel fitter, stronger, healthier and trimmer now than I can remember being for a very long time. So, well done team!
The personal session was really good - weird being on my own & being assessed but really valuable info. Brooke was great as she really understood where I was coming from in terms of regaining fitness, strength and health post babies. Thanks for providing these personal sessions over and above the amazing training we already do, helps to tweak my exercising and correct when I’m off track. Thank you!

I love the sessions and am committed to training, it has become part of my daily routine. I always hated running but as my fitness has improved and I have started to enjoy it. With Top Coach's help, I reached my 50th Parkrun and recently achieved a hat trick of PB's at Park Run. Over the last few months I've managed to lose some of those unwanted kgs and a lot of cms. I have a lot more energy and everyone is commenting on how good I look. Top Coach motivates me and pushes me to achieve my fitness goals. Leisa and Chris are always there to listen and motivate, always make the sessions fun and give us a variety of different activities and venues to keep things interesting. It's great to see that you take pride in making sure that the exercises are done correctly, that you minimise injuries and help us work on our weak points, while being encouraging at the same time. My journey with TopCoach has been amazing, and my confidence and determination has opened new doors for me, though sadly, those doors are too far away to continue my classes at this time, but I will continue on with the skills that Chris and Leisa and Brooke have taught me. Thank you Chris for your support & encouragement. To be officially back at Top Coach today has rejuvenated me. It felt great to be back. I feel like my head space is on the right track, I can start to loose weight again and more importantly get my fitness levels back to how they were. My shoulder I know will take time but at least I feel now there is an end. Thank you also for taking the time to give me one on one lessons. They were a great help. Jo East 😄

I have enjoyed my year at Top Coach immensely. I have played a lot of sport over my life and have done a fair bit of fitness through the RAAF but your approach is far more practical, personal and satisfying. I feel my all round fitness is the best as it has been since I was a teenager and I thank you both along with Brooke and Katherine. Originally I said my ultimate goal was to be a great role model for my daughter...well that was some of it..but the underlying real reason was to get back my self-confidence and try to find the person I used to be, instead of the sad overweight person I had become. Without Top Coach and the wonderful support of Leisa and Chris I don’t think I ever would have got there. They have managed to help me shape my mind-set to allow myself to achieve my goals. They have never given up on me, no matter how often I tried to give up on myself, and they managed to do it without making me feel insecure or pressured, yet still challenge me to improve. I LOVE Top Coach. Everyone I have met along the way, trainers or customers, have their own story and their own battles they are fighting (or have fought) but they are all so friendly and inspirational. I love the variety of classes. I love the variety of venues and being outdoors to train. I love that there are no mirrors . Everyone is just wonderful. I can’t thank Top Coach enough for all they are doing. Seeing my daughter’s health and happiness improve is also a wonderful bonus. I’ve still got a way to go but I know I WILL MAKE IT!! thanks to them.

After having many injuries myself I’ve found your style of training is awesome it’s only been almost 3 weeks since Vicky and my self joined Top Coach and feeling better each day. You have the right name for your gym, as both yourself and Leisa are Top Coach’s as well as the rest of your team. Very professional at what you do.

Started Top Coach as Beth is very focussed on health and life balance and my only exercise was surfing occasionally. No real time to do anything else. We are all time poor. A couple of my friends had also been going and enjoyed it. I needed to get fitter than I was and had made various attempts to do it by myself without much continuity. TC was convenient. It is always a bit daunting to start a new activity (especially when there are others around) so took a bit of pushing to get me there. Primary goal was overall fitness and strength to reduce risk of injury, knees and back. I am fitter now than I’ve been since I was a med student playing water polo (30 years ago!) Always believed it possible but seemed very distant possibility. TC is great fun. Coaches are professional and keep the motivation going to help push that little bit harder. The sessions are well planned and balanced. I tend to go to the sessions at 6:30 pm so have a mixture of whatever is done at the time. Overall I think this is a good thing as I am not just choosing a specific type of session. I am not a morning person. (Don’t belong to the insomniac club) TC is user friendly - takes 90 minutes of your day and you get huge benefits. There is a good mix of sessions and there is definitely a sense of comradery in the groups.
It's the best thing we've ever done. Top Coach has definitely helped me, I've lost weight but better than that I am fitter, stronger and I feel great. When you have had spinal injuries like I have, you are constantly told to be careful and don't do things. It gets inside your head and you stop extending yourself. The converse is true, it is really important for your long term health, balance and mobility to become strong to support those weak points. I get that and Chris and Leisa get that too. I feel so much stronger now and I don't feel my neck and back pain. It's just so good to have somebody watching me do the exercises properly. The best thing has been regaining confidence in my ability to do things. I didn't ever see myself getting back on the water or hiking. Now I am starting to believe in my abilities again. I really feel that this is just the beginning. I am really pleased with my decision to join your team, that's what it is. We do things as a team and encourage one another. I love the fact that I am getting to know the trainers and feel a part of the group. It's great that my partner and I can come along even though we have vastly differing ability and we have both made progress! Thank you so much for the acknowledgement guys, I better get moving or I'll be late for class!
