Congratulations Kerri Palmer for reaching 3rd place in our recent Top Coach Weight Loss Challenge. Kerri lost 8.7kg and 9.5 % of bodyweight.
Well done Kerri, we have seen you make fantastic changes with your health and fitness upon starting at Top Coach. You look great, it really shows, we are proud of you! You stuck with it the whole way!
Kerri suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, her goals were to get stronger and fitter with an overall long term goal of Weight Loss.
Kerri started Top Coach in 2017, she started off slowly in our beginners program for sometime before progressing further.
Kerri Writes: “Weight gain started will pneumonia. Every time I tried to exercise I would eventually ‘crash’, feel like I had the flu and end up in bed. I had no energy to cook so was eating anything convenient and was looking for energy from sugar. I nearly quit Top Coach because even the beginners classes were too much for me. I had actually forgotten how bad I used to feel until I started writing this! I used to try and conserve my energy before work. Now I can do a class, walk the Gan Gan loop then go to work and I feel fine.
I have a cupboard full of vitamins and none of them did anything. Only when I started the challenge did I start to feel better. (I’m still trying to drink more water and eat more vegetables). I fell off the wagon after the halfway mark, just too much stress happening all at once. That was a bit disappointing, I could have done better. But even with a huge amount of stress I have not had any fatigue. I would have been happy not to get a place – hate writing about this kind of stuff!! And embarrassed I ever got so fat!
It’s not just about the scales. I have never been strong, fit or healthy. Overall, I have increased my energy and strength. I never thought I would be able to do a push up and now I can do six! And the big bonus is I have no more back pain!
Anyway, I would never have done this on my own without help from Top Coach. I’m definitely more conscious of what I put in my mouth. I’d say to anyone to give it a try. It’s not about going all out because I definitely held back. I was constantly worried about using too much energy initially. Just a little bit everyday worked for me.
Thank you Top Coach- Kerri Palmer
