Come and join us for our monthly parkrun breakfast/coffee get together on the last Saturday of each month.

Enjoy your 5km walk or run at Fingal Bay, cheer on other parkrunners and join us for a well deserved coffee and breakfast from around 8.45am.

Our local parkrun starts in front of the Fingal Beach Surf Life Saving Club at 8am every Saturday morning.

Our next monthly breakfast will be held on the 30th March.

Parkrun participation and registration is free.

Top Coach Charity 14km Run/Walk

Come and join us for a run or a walk around the foreshore roads/paths/beaches/parks from Shoal Bay to Soldiers Point approximately 14km.

Starts at the jetty at Shoal Bay.

Finishes at the jetty beside Port Stephens Sailing and Aquatic Club.

Limited transport available from the finish back to start if booked in advance.

When: Sunday 21st July

Time: 8:00 am

Monies raised from this event will go to support the Port Stephens Koalas. Donations collected on the day.

Through your generous donations it will help to be able to provide

  • Veterinary medications and tests
  • Rescue apparatus and reimburse carers and rescuers for fuel costs
  • Intensive Care and Rehabilitation facilities
  • Leaf storage sheds
  • Education campaigns
  • Participation in Scientific research
  • Buy and plant koala food tree plantations to provide animals in care with food
  • Preservation of core koala habitat and wildlife corridors

Please note: This event (as such) is not sponsored or endorsed in any way; anyone who wishes to participate does so at their own risk and well being. What will be offered is someone providing support in the case of injury/illness, etc and welfare checks as in accounting for participants at the end.

Water/Toilets: As this event transits numerous public parks, there is ample supply of fresh drinking water and toilet facilities located in most of the public parks.

For the purpose of Welfare, there will be a Sign On/Off sheet, in case of injury illness. It is recommended that participants fill out the Sign On/Off sheet and carry a mobile phone, the support party number will be given out on the day, so if you are in difficulty you can ring for assistance.

Also if by 11.00am you have not completed the course we can perform a “Welfare” Check and monitor your progress.

In the event of Adverse Weather before the start, the event could be postponed/cancelled.
