Motivating yourself to exercise can be tough, but did you know that if you train with others you are 80% more likely to reach your fitness goals? There’s strength in numbers, the old saying goes, and that’s especially true when it comes to exercising. Social support encourages physical activity. If you have friends waiting for you at your workout, it gets a heck of a lot easier.

Tribe is Everything – Why?
Because we’re social creatures, and we love to share experiences and stories, so showing up for each other is so much easier than showing up for a pair of dumbbells! Chasing someone else in a workout is so much fun and always makes it easier to get a great workout and faster results. While group training has always been popular with women, its appeal is growing among men – either as their first step towards better health and fitness or because they’re fed up with never getting the results they want when they train by themselves.

Find your WHY
Link your workouts to your purpose. For example to increase your energy levels. Lose Weight. Complete your first 5km park run. Be a good role model for your kids. Spend more time being active with your partner, or go on fun active adventures with friends – you’ll be more likely to show up and work on your fitness consistently. Keep your reasons front of mind, or write them down and keep them in view. Sign up to an event, like a fun run or a challenge giving yourself something to train for. Check out our new Events Page:

Feel Great!
The #1 goal of exercise is to enjoy moving your body because it makes you feel good! When it makes you feel good you will want to do it, and you will look forward to working out each and every time. Motivation stays high. Consistency stays high. Adherence stays high. This all adds up to transformation.  If you are new to fitness or haven’t trained for a while. Join our beginner’s sessions. These are also ideal for Older Adults who are not sure what to do or those struggling with injuries.

Lock it in Eddie
Sometimes it really helps to sign up to a program that has a clear start and endpoint. Pay upfront so you won’t back out halfway, put your sessions in your diary as if they were important meetings, then gun it to the finish line! The clarity a short-term program gives you about what you need to do and when to get results is awesome, and it’s a great way to make your commitment public too. Not only that, the power of going through a program with the same people you started with is another way to find your tribe.
